A discussion on “Corona Situation and Our Role” was held at Muktagacha municipality conference room .
State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid was present as chief guest in the programme held recently while mayor of the municipality Billal Hossen Sarker presided.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer, Muktagacha Abdullah Al Mansur ,Vice President of Muktagacha Upazila Parisad Alhaj Arab Ali and councilors were present.
State Minister discussed about the second wave of Covid -19 situation and its sharp surge of the infection.
He said the government has taken stern steps to save our live and livelihood during Covid -19 pandemic .
He urged all to follow the health safety guidelines and other rules, set by the government , use mask and avoid all kinds of gatherings to save the lives of the people .
Khalid also urged the councilors, public representatives and conscious citizens of the society to come forward and play a responsible role to contain spread of the lethal virus and protect the lives.
