Discontentment are prevailing in Chittagong Port centring the sudden dismissal of 35 employees and officials of 4 port project.
The concerned officials and their family members instantly became annoyed over the dismissal of these officials after 4 years service there.
The family members of these sacked officials turn into tears hearing the sad news of termination. Following the drastic decision of the port authority , the officials , worers of te port irrespective of status and positions became astonished over the dismissal of 35 offiials at a time. A reliable sources said in the history of Chittagong Port the first incident of dismissal of 35 officials sacked at a time.
Port sources said these sacked employees were engaged earlier in NCT terminal, gantry crene operation, master development project, 33 KVA project and two executive engineers. Port sorces said as per legal opinions of panel of advisors, the decision of termination was taken on Tuesday last.
