A vigilance team of Karnaphuli Gas Distributiion Company Ltd conducted drive against the illegal gas connection at a residential colony owned by one Md. Mohiuddin in Halishahar Barrister Sultan Ahmed college area on March 10 last.
In the drive of KGDCL, 22 illegal connections were snapped instantly in that colony which installed illegally in a unfair way since 2011 . The riser of the gas connections hidened inside the 3-4 feet depth of ground level of earth, sources said. Executive Magistrate of the district ad ministration Abdullah al Mansur led the vigilance team accompanied by the law enforcing members and KGDCL officials.
