Nagorik Oikya convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna on Friday demanded the public disclosure of probe reports on the share market scam and Bangladesh Bank reserve heist.
He said it in a meeting of his party representatives in the capital.
If the government fails to release the probe reports within 48 hours, it will be proved that the government’s zero tolerance stand against the corruption is a hox, said Manna, a former JSD and AL leader.
He said, “We want to know the amount of wealth of the MPs and the ministers gathered in the past 11 years of the AL government.”
Manna programmed ‘indoor’ protest rally against the government at the Jatiya Press Club on November 8.
After then, he said, the party would hold ‘street’ rally in mid-November.
He also announced to hold Victory Rally to celebrate Victory Day on December 16, and the day o f protest rally against the December 30 election would be announced later.
