TahminaAkhterBhundi (40), father of the deceased Miyajan Ali, came from the opposite direction on the Daroyani-Khansama road of NilphamariSadarUpazila at Angar Para Barbari of Kundapukur Union at around 9 P.M. last night. Bhundi came with speed and fell on the carpeted road and sustained serious injuries in both parts of the head.
Bhundi’s cousin MashiurRahman said, “As soon as I saw Bhundi next to my house, a loud noise came to my ears as soon as I went to the door. I came to the street and saw him lying on the ground in a bloody state.” I informed the people of the house that they came and immediately took me in a van to Nilphamari Modern Sadar Hospital for treatment. Shortly after he was admitted, the on-duty doctor referred the injured Bhundi to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
Md. Jahedul Islam Babu, elder brother of the victim, said that the doctor on duty at Rangpur Medical College Hospital declared the disabled TahminaAkhterBhundi dead at around 9 am yesterday.
