Daffodil International School (DIS) has launched its fourth branch at Mawna, Gazipur on Saturday. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil Group inaugurated the school as chief guest. Presided over by the director of the branch Md. Saif Uddin Ahmed, the function was addressed by Rokhsana Kader, Vice-Principal of the branch.
The function was attended by Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Director, Mohammed Nuruzzaman, Executive Director, Daffodil Education Network, Jamsedur Rahman, Principal, Daffodil International College, Md. Moonir Hossain, Company Secretary, Daffodil Computers Ltd. and other high officials of the school.
Addressing the students Md. Sabur Khan said, we want to build Daffodil International School as one of the best school of the country and aiming that goal we have already initiated some steps in academic and administrative level.
We want to see that our students are technologically developed to meet the challenges of the ICT, he added.
He urged the students to make the best use of facilities and opportunities provided by the school. Urging the students to be an ideal human being, Md. Sabur Khan said that three major things – discipline, honesty and quality education can make life successful. To be an ideal citizen of the country he advised the students to achieve these virtues.
