The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday directed the Investigation Officer to submit its report on April 26 in the case filed over killing a mother and her son in the city’s Kakrail area.
Magistrate Md Ahsan Habib of the CMM Court fixed the date on Tuesday as the Investigation Officer of the case could not submit his report yesterday.
On November 1 in 2017, Shamsun Nahar, 46, and her son Shawon, 19, were
found dead in a flat of a multi-storey building in the city’s Kakrail area. On information, police went to the spot and recovered their bloodstained bodies.
Later, Ashraf Ali, brother of victim Shamsun Nahar, filed the case accusing Abdul Karim, her husband, Sharmin Akhter Mukta, Abdul Karim’s second wife, and her brother Al Amin alias Jonny.
Police arrested and put them on remand.
