Entertainment Report :Once news presentation was her passion. But now it becomes profession of Dima Nefartiti. With her outstanding news presentation on the screen she has already received huge response from the viewers. Dima started her creativity when she was only four years old. She recited a poem after getting inspiration from her father. After passing school, college and university recitation is still her first choice. In this year’s Ekushey Boimela, a compilation book on recitation edited by Dima titled Bangladesh-er Hridoy Hotey was published. It was her second book. This compilation is based on poems recited by poets of two Bengals focusing on Ekushey, Liberation War and Bangabandhu. Agami Prokashoni published the book.While asking her about why she didn’t release any CD for many days Dima told this correspondent, “Now I am working to release my fifth solo recitation album. Title of the album is Buk Taar Bangladesh-er Hridoy. It will release soon.”Besides news presentation and recitation, Dima is also a documentary filmmaker. Her made Victory Day’s special play and Eid play also received positive responses from the viewers. She is now making a documentary titled Ekti Shetur Golpo. It is a joint venture production and India and Bangladesh. While talking with her in this regard Dima said, “Main theme of the documentary is the Meghna River, the Bhairab Railway Bridge, people who are living adjacent to the river banks and their livelihoods and perspective of the socio-economical context of making a bridge and its feasibility study. If everything is confirmed, I will also make a play on the occasion of Eid.”“In fact, work is my life. I want to continue my life with works,” Dima said.
