Dilruba Sathi is a regular host of popular private satellite channel, Channel i. She is regularly hosting Gaan-e Gaan-e Sokal Shuru and Citycell Tarokakothon in the channel. Besides these two programmes, she also hosts other programmes, which broadcast in special days. Sathi started her hosting career for not many days. But hosting these two programmes on Channel i Sathi has already become a popular host in media. She has also become a celebrity by virtue of her outstanding presentation.Though Sathi had hosted in different programmes on Channel i, for the first time she is going to host a beauty contest. She will host a contest titled Kumarika Miss Natural 2014. The grand finale of the contest is scheduled to be held at Atrium Restaurant in the city’s Baridhara’s Progati Sarani area today. The programme will begin at 7:00pm. Basically the contest was continued by online. Finally 10 contestants were selected to compete in the grand finale. While sharing her feelings to host an exceptional show Dilruba Sathi told this correspondent, “I always host live shows. But for the first time, I will host any beauty contest. It was my dream. I hope the show will be finished successfully. I am really grateful to Country Director of Kumarika Navid Islam Khan in this regard.”It may be mentioned that though Sathi is engaged with hosting she is getting many offers for acting in TV plays. Due to lack of time she can’t manage time for acting now. She feels comfortable in hosting, Sathi said.
