DIIT welcomes new fellows

The orientation program of the newly enrolled students of Daffodil Institute of IT (DIIT) was held at DIU Auditorium in the city on Wednesday. AKM Mozammel Huq MP, Minister for Liberation War Affairs was present as the chief guest while Advocate Mohammad Azmat Ullah Khan, Advisor, Municipal Association of Bangladesh was present as special guest.
The Program was chaired by Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, DIIT and Daffodil Group. Among others, Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Executive Director of DIIT, Md. Shah Newaz Mazumder and Deputy Director of DIIT delivered welcome speech and vote of thanks was given by Md. Sharwar Hossain Mollah, Deputy Director of DIIT.
The chief guest AKM Mozammel Huq MP, said, students must go forward with self-confidence. They have to work for the country by educating themselves. One must have duty towards his nation. He advised the students to become an entrepreneur by acquiring knowledge, otherwise it’s not possible to become successful. He also advised to be an honest man to become a successful man, he added.
He urged the students to take the country forward by acquiring knowledge based education.
He welcomed the students to take part in nation building activities and make Bangladesh a successful developed country.
Md. Sabur Khan described different ways of becoming an entrepreneur. For becoming an entrepreneur he welcomed the students to take the opportunity of the Daffodil International University’s business incubator and venture capital fund.
