Minister of Posts and Telecommunications Mustafa Jabbar said digital revolution in the country boost up technologies for the wellbeing of the people.
“As a result of the digital changes, soon robots would take the place of laptops or desktops. Voice calls have already decreased by 40 percent due to the increase in Internet calls through various digital platforms,” he said.
He said these as the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony organized by BCS laptop association-Eastern Plus at a hotel in the city on Monday night, said a press release.
The minister called upon policy makers, researchers, traders and industrialists to work in a coordinated manner to adapt the updated digital technology, reports BSS.
Later, Jabbar distributed certificates among the BCS laptop market association members.
