A digital information centre was launched in the month-long Amar Ekushey Book Fair at Bangla Academy in the capital on Monday.

Kuman Banerjy said readers and writers will get information of Bangla Academy, books fair’s map, placements of all book stalls and the daily programmes of Bangla Academy from the digital information centre.
After inaugurating the centre, DG Shamsuzzaman Khan said the book fair is getting the touch of the technology day by day and digital information of the book fair will be available in the website in future so that people can get information from home.
“We hope that readers can select the expected books from home and then they will come to book fair to gather those,” he said.
