The Education Ministry has launched digital attendance system for its officials and employees from August 30.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid inaugurated the attendance system by punching his own smart card at a function in the conference room of the ministry, an official release said.
Introduction of the digital attendance system will ensure monitoring the arrival and departure time of the officials and employees.
Besides, it will also help to preserve the attendance related information of the officials and employees for a long time.
The education minister also inaugurated the e-filing system of the ministry.
Speaking on the occasion Nahid said, “The application of Information Technology will ensure transparency and accountability of the ministry’s works.”
Education Secretary M Sohrab Hossain and concerned high officials of the
ministry were present on the occasion.
