Digital app launched in Barisal to ensure govt services

Digital app has been launched in Barishal to ensure getting hassle-free government services at the doorsteps of the people.
SM Ajiar Rahman, deputy commissioner Barishal, inaugurated the app at the conference room of the district administration on Wednesday.
Prashanta Kumar Roy, additional deputy commissioner for Education and ICT, presided over the function.
Deputy Commissioner SM Ajiar Rahman said in the first phase, 5,500 telephone numbers have been added here.
The app has been developed and launched to bring the service at door step of the people, ensure tourism and easy communication with digital platform.
As a result people could use various types of government services including land related documents like parcha and they will provide technical assistances from BD Engineering Limited, the deputy commissioner added.
The app is not just a telephone directory for government and non-government personalities, but also aware the people about the district’s tradition, history, heritage and tourism facilities, he said.
According to the district administration sources, for the first time, people will be able to get different government service facilities through this app.
