City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin said three new khals(canal) will be dig in city area aimed at mitigating the problems of waterlogging .He disclosed it while visiting the earth lifting program from chaktai khal at Bahaddarhat point on Saturday.
City mayor said slitch gate with pump will be installed at the estuary of 28 city canals within the city for the purpose through formulating master plan.
During the unveiling the program of earth lifting program, chief engineer, superintending engineer, executive engineers and local ward councilor of the corporation were present on the occasion.
