Kazi Nusrat Jahan Diana has been working in TV plays and movies for many days. This time she has worked in an exceptional story based play titled Sei Pothey. Mezbah Shikder has scripted and also gave direction of the play. Shooting of the play was done in different places of Dhaka including Uttara area. Irfan Sajjad worked against Diana in this play.
While talking about the play Diana told this correspondent, “For the long time of my career I worked in many types of plays. Story of Sei Pothey attracted me so I have shown my keen interest to work in this play. Therefore, Irfan Sajjad was my co-actor who also supported me. Overall it has become a nice work.”
Irfan Sajjad shared his feelings by this way, “Diana acts well. As a pair, it was our first work. We have tried our level best to make the play successful. I believe viewers will enjoy the play.”
Diana also informed that this play will be telecast within this year. If it is not possible then it will be aired on Valentine’s Day of 2019 because story of this play is a love story.
In 2015, Diana received Best Actress award from Noyonmoni Cultural Award. In 2009, she acted in Khijir Hayat Khan’s movie Jaago. It was her first acted movie. Later, she acted in Nasir Uddin Yusuff’s movie Guerilla. She also performed in TVCs of Citycell, Banglalink, Robi Mother’s Day, etc.
