The “Wedding Baishakhi Festival,” organised by Diamond World, began at The Westin Dhaka in the city on April 5 in a bid to show the unique collections of the jewellery company.
Dilip Kumar Agarwala, Managing Director, Diamond World, inaugurated the Wedding Baishakhi Festival. Other officials of Diamond World were present at the time.
While briefing the press, Agarwala, also Director of FBCCI, General Secretary of Bangladesh Jewellery Association, said the festival was arranged on the occasion of marriage.
“The Festival is being celebrated considering the culture and tastes of the people of this country. We believe that new festivities have been brought to the festival which will attract visitors’ attention,” he said.
He urged the foreign buyers to come to this festival, saying, “It is such a wonderful festival that you will not regret for coming here.”
Considering the culture and people’s tastes of this country, more than 40 thousand designs have been brought to this year’s wedding Baishakhi festival. Apart from this, people will get 30 per cent discount on the occasion of the wedding Baishakhi festival. Great interest of buyers towards gold collection, noor collection, nikah collection, promising collection, magnes collection was observed.
