Chittagong Bureau :
Bright Bangladesh Forum organised a dialogue meeting on legal support to the deprieved women of the community under the project titled Establish Slum Womens obtainment of Justice Adopting Grassroots Initiatives(ESO-JAGI) duly financed by the DFID-UK .
Community Legal Services, UK and Maxwell Stamps UK extended support to BBF for this project. The project activities of the project is being conducted in 5 city wards . City Magistrate of Chittagong Nazia Shireen graced the meeting as chief guest . Chief Executive Officer of BBF Utpal Barua presided over the dialogue meeting at the conference hall of Chittagong Press Club on Thursday . Project Manager of UNDP-UPPR Abdullah al Mamun conducted the meeting as moderator. Councilor Arzoo Shahabuddin, councilor Yasin Chowdhury, Councilor Afroza Kalam was the discussants in it.
Among others Advocate Halima sadia begum, Executive Director of Barnali Salauddin Kabir Sumon, Director of BBF Nasrin sultana, finance secretary of BBF Jahanara Begum, Journalist Nasirul Hoque, Advocate Tutul Bahar and legal advisor of BBF Md. Imran and the representatives from community legal support unit, BNWLA, Codec, YPSA, ELLMA and journalists from print and electronic media were present in it.
