Band troupe Dhrubotara started its journey in 2005’s Valentine’s Day under the joint initiative taken by SI Tutul and Partho Majumder.
During the beginning of the band its name was Face to Face.
In 2008, to keep request from late Humayun Ahmed they changed its name to Dhrubotara.
To celebrate the day, six members of the band will take part in a family gossip in the capital’s Uttara area today.
Tutul also informed that from today ‘fan page’ of Dhrubotara will kick off.
Dhrubotara has two albums in the market. These are: Dhrubotara and Dukkhopoka.
Tutul also informed that yesterday they performed at Bangladesh Betar. They will also perform at Channel i on February 17 and later in stage shows in Sylhet and Chattogram.
