The train communications of Dhaka with the north-west region has been restored after five hours.The rail communication resumed around 9:00 am.
Ullapara Station Master Rafikul Islam said a Chattogram-bound oil-laden train from Dinajpur suddenly became out of order around 7.30am on Monday near Mohanpur Railway Station at Ullapara in Sirajganj, snapping train communications of Dhaka with Rajshahi, Rangpur and Khulna.
A light train reached the spot and rescued the train after five hours.
