Dhaka Tribune emerged as the champions of the Kool-BSJA Media Cup Football Tournament beating Channel 24 by 2-1 goals in the final at BFF Artificial Turf on Friday. Channel 24 became runners-up.
Shahriar Real of Dhaka Tribune was adjudged the Man of the Final.
Sadman Sakib of Channel 24 won the Masud Ahmed Rumi Best Player Award, while Jagonews 24.com earned the Al Musabbir Sadi Fair Play Trophy.
The champions were awarded Taka thirty thousand, while the runners-up got Taka fifteen thousand.
DIG of Bangladesh Naval Police and sports organiser Sheikh Md Maruf Hasan gave Taka ten thousand each to the two finalist teams.
Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Youth and Sports Zahid Ahsan Russel distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest, while Director of Max Group Monjurul Islam was with him as the special guest.
The BFF officials and the officials of Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association were present at the time, among others.
