Dhaka Tribune, Bangladesh Protidin, Channel i, Maasranga TV and Manab Kantha reached the quarter-finals of the Walton-BSJC Media Cricket Tournament on Friday. All the matches were taken place at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
In the day’s matches, Dhaka Tribune (122/0) thrashed GTV (82/3) by 40 runs, Bangladesh Protidin (122/2) crushed Bangla Mail 24.com (67) by 55 runs, Channel i (76/3) overcame BTV (40/3) by 36 runs, Maasranga TV ( 64/0) defeated New Age ( 60/2) by five wickets, Samay TV (66/4) beat Kaler Kantha (56/4) by 10 runs.
Meanwhile, Manab Kantha got walkover against Channel 24 while Jamuna TV got walkover against Naya Diganta.
Former cricketer of Bangladesh National Cricket team Mohammad Ashraful, Chief Reporter of GTV Raju Ahmed and Sports Editor of Maasranga TV Rakibul Hasan distributed the prizes of the Man of the Match.
