Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League T20 starts today

The Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League Twenty20 starts today. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club will meet Khelaghar SKS in the day’s first match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in the city’s Mirpur at 12.30 pm, while Dhaka Abahani Limited will face Brothers Union Club in the day’s second match at the same venue at 5.30 pm .
A total of 12 teams splitting into four groups are competing in the first phase of the cricket meet.
Dhaka Abahani Limited, Prime Bank Cricket Club, Brothers Union Club are in Group-A, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, Khelaghar SKS, Uttara Sporting Club are in Group-B, Legends of Rupganj, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Shinepukur Cricket Club are in Group-C, Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club, Gazi Group Cricketers, Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan (BKSP) are in Group-D.
The champions of the Group-B will face the champions of the Group-C in the first semi-final at SBNCS on March 1, while the champions of the Group-A will meet the champions of the Group-D in the second semi-final at the same venue on the same day.
The winners of the two semi-finals will face each other in the final at the same venue on March 3.
