A five-wicket haul by Mostafizur Rahman saw Abahani Limited to earn an emphatic six-wicket victory over Kalabagan Krira Chakra in their sixth round match of the Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) held on Friday at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah.
Batting first after winning the toss, Kalabagan managed to score a small total off 189 for 9 from their allotted 50 overs in the face of tight bowling attacks by Abahani bowlers, especially Mostafizur Rahman, who grabbed five wickets conceding 32 runs.
In reply, Abahan Limited reached to their target making 193 runs for 6 with 48 balls remaining.
Mostafizur Rahman of Abahani Limited was named the player of the match.

A match-winning unbeaten 87-run knock by Dhiman Ghosh saw Victoria Sporting Club to record their third win in the Walton Premier Division Cricket League with an overwhelming seven wickets victory over Partex Sporting Club in their sixth round match held on Friday at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan Ground-4,Savar.
Put to bat first, Partex Sporting Club dismissed at a paltry total of 183 in 47.4 overs.
Chasing the small target of 184 runs set by Partex SC, Victora SC easily reched to their destination making 186 runs in 45.4 overs for the loss three wickets.
Dhiman Ghosh of Victoria was named the player of the match for his brilliant batting performance on the day.
MSC post third win

An all-round performance came from Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited saw them to record their third win in the Walton Dhaka Premier League beating Old DOHS Sporting Club by 49 runs in their sixth round match held on Friday at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisn ground no 3 in Savar.
Asked to bat first by Old DOHS, Mohammedan Sporting Club scored a decent total of 250 for 8 from their allotted 50 overs.
In reply, Old DOHS managed to score 201 for 8 from their stipulated 50 overs.
Naeem Islam of Mohammedan Sporting Club was named the player of the match for his brilliant batting performance on the day.
