The jailer of Dhaka Central Jail received a death threat on Saturday night.
Md Monirul Islam, officer-in-charge of Dakshin Keraniganj Police Station, said the death threat was issued to Jailer Nesar Alam through a mobile phone SMS (short message service) at night. Later Shakhawat Hossain, deputy jailer of the jail, filed a general diary with the police station. Police are trying to find out the threat issuer/s, added the OC.
