In the day’s first match, Dhaha Indian beat Hard Willow Cricketers by seven runs at the Jagannath Hall Ground in Dhaka University.
Batting first Dhaka Indian made a healthy total of 179 for the loss of seven wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and then restricted Hard Willow Cricketers to 172 for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
Siddarth of Dhaka Indian top-scored with 58. He was adjudged the Man of the Match for his brilliant batting performance.
In the day’s second match, Tehari on Wheels defeated Sri Lankan Cricket Club, Dhaka by 79 runs at Residential Model School & College Ground.
Tehari on Wheels batted first and piled up a mammoth total of 223 for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs and then bundled out Sri Lankan Cricket Club, Dhaka for 144 runs off 20 overs.
Jamal Babu of Tehari on Wheels notched up 84 runs. He was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding batting performance.
In the day’s third match, Tex Style BD recorded an easy five-wicket win over Indian Embassy at the same ground.
Chasing Indian Embassy total of 124 off 20 overs, Tex Style BD romped home making 125 for the loss of five wickets when they had six overs to spare.
