Dhaka Indian, Tehari on Wheels posted wins in their respective matches of the 5th Raman Lamba & Daulat-Uz-Zaman Twenty20 Cricket Tournament on Saturday.
In the day’s first match, Dhaka Indian recorded an easy five-wicket victory over BRAC University Ex Cricketers at Jagannath Hall Ground in Dhaka University.
Batting first BRAC University Ex Cricketers scored 154 in 19.3 overs.
In reply, Dhaka Indian sailed home making 155 for the loss of five wickets when they had seven balls to spare.
Former cricketer of Bangladesh National Cricket team Atik grabbed four wickets at the cost of 34 runs. He was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance.
Siddarath of Dhaka Indian top-scored with 78.
In the day’s second match, Tehari on Wheels registered a massive 116-run victory over Indian Embassy at the same venue.
Tehari on Wheels piled up a mammoth total of 207 for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Indian Embassy were all out for 91 runs in 16 overs.
Istiaq of Tehari on Wheels was his team’s most successful batsman. He notched up 58.
Shezan of Tehari on Wheels scored 16 runs and captured four wickets instead of 12 runs. Shezan was adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
SP Pawat of Indian Embassy restored some parity for his team scoring 34 runs.
