Dhaka Indian and JF International composed wins in their respective matches of the Raman Lamba & Daulat-uz-Zaman Trophy on Friday.
In the day’s first match, Dhaka Indian beat Sri Lankan Sports Club by two runs at the Jagannath Hall Ground in Dhaka University.
Electing to bat first, Dhaka Indian scored a massive 206 for the loss of eight wickets in the stipulated 20 overs and then they restricted Sri Lankan Sports Club to 204 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.
Sandip of Dhaka Indian remained unbeaten with 95 and was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Samida of Sri Lankan Sports Club hit the day’s highest of 114.
In the day’s other match, JF International defeated American Efiro Bangladesh Limited by 173 runs at the same venue.
Winning in the coin-session JF International decided to bat first and piled up a mammoth 254 for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs and then bundled out American Efiro for 81 off 16 overs.
Bipul of JF International shone with the willow making 67 and was adjudged the Man of the Match.
