Dhaka Green Club emerged as the champions of the Walton Dhaka Metropolis Club Cup Wrestling Championship bagging five gold medals and a silver medal on Tuesday. The Competition was held at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council.
Azad Muslim Club became runners-up grabbing two gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze medal. Agrani Sangsad finished third earning one gold medal and one silver medal.
After the competition, State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Head of Sports & Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn was with him as the special guest. General Secretary of Bangladesh Amateur Wrestling Federation Tabiur Rahman Palowan, Joint-Secretary of the Federation Mesbah Uddin Azad were present at the time.
