Dhaka Gladiators clinched the Citycell Federation Cup Basketball title beating Dhumketu Club by 92-66 points in the final at the Dhanmondi Basketball gymnasium here on Sunday.
They led the first half by 40-35 points.
Shoeb caged 23, Swadish 22 for the winners while Tareq scored 46 and Roman eight for the losers. Later, Tareq was adjudged the best player of the tournament.
Secretary General of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Syed Shaheed Reza was the chief guest in the day’s final and distributed the prizes.
Human Resources Director of Citycell Suman Bhattacharjee and Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations of Citycell Taslim Ahmed, were also present special guests..
BOA Director General Brigadier General (Retd) Fakhruddin Haider and general secretary of Bangladesh Basketball Federation AK Sarker were also present on the occasion.
In the semifinals, Dhaka Gladiators eliminated BKSP by 80-70 points while Dhumketu Club beat Hornets SC 90-68 points
