Bangladesh Premier League: Dhaka Dynamites storm into final

Dhaka Dynamites stormed in to the final of the AKS Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 Cricket defeating Khulna Titans by 54 runs in their qualifier match at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.
Batting first Dhaka Dynamites made a remarkable 140 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs and then bundled out Khulna Titans for 86 off 16.2 overs.
Junaid Khan and Andre Fletcher of Khulna Titans played the key role to mop up the top orders of Dhaka Dynamites.
Junaid Khan dismissed Mehedi Maruf for 7, Kumar Sangakkara for 9, Emrit Lewis for 11. Junaid Khan grabbed four wickets instead of 24 runs, while Fletcher took two wickets for 22 runs.
Andre Fletcher removed Nasir Hossain for 13, Shakib Al Hasan for 18.
After dismissal of Shakib Al Hasan, fourth-down Mosaddek Hossain (8) was run out by Mahmudullah Riyad when Dhaka’s score was 89 for the loss of six wickets.
Then Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo built a worthy partnership. They put on together 49 runs in the seventh wicket stand before Russell was caught at the deep mid-wicket by Mahmudullah off Benny Howell when Dhaka’s total was 138 for the loss of seven wickets.
Russell cracked a stormy 46 from 25 balls hitting three sixes and four fours. Russell was adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
Dwayne Bravo remained unbeaten with 23.
Tail-ender Alauddin Babu (0) was bowled out by Junaid Khan when Dhaka’s score was 139 for the loss of eight wickets.
Later, opener Andre Fletcher of Khulna Titans was the only batsman who fought back against the superb bowling attack of Dhaka Dynamites. Fletcher hit 28 from 22 balls including four fours and a sixer.
Andre Russell and Dwayne Bravo grabbed three wickets each for 16 and 10 runs respectively.
