Dhaka Dynamites will face Rajshahi Kings in the final of the AKS Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 Cricket at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur today. The match begins at 5.45 pm.
Dhaka Dynamites stormed into the final thrashing Khulna Titans by 54 runs in the first qualifier match at the same venue on December 6.
On the other hand, Rajshahi Kings moved into the qualifier phase beating Chittagong Vikings by three wickets in the eliminator phase at the same venue on the same day.
Rajshahi Kings reached the final defeating Khulna Titans by seven wickets in the second qualifier match at the same venue on December 7.
All-rounder Nasir Hossain of Dhaka Dynamites said, ” Rajshahi Kings are not bad side. They played well and moved into the final. I think those who do mistake fewer than opponents in the final, they will be the champions.”
There are a lot of all-rounders in Dhaka Dynamites. Shakib Al Hasan, Nasir Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain, Andre Russell, Dwayne Bravo, Seekkuge Prasanna, Alauddin Babu all are all-rounders.
Nasir Hossain thinks to win the final everyone has to give contribution.
Captain of Rajshahi Kings Darren Sammy said ,”I hope it will be an exciting game. I know Dhaka will have the majority of support but some of the Kings fans will be there as well. They have been very vocal in all our games. Hopefully we will come out victorious. In order to do that we have to field well, continue to bowl well and definitely bat better. I said to my teammates, we have not played our best. We have one game left. Probably we are waiting for the final to give our best.”
