U-18 Cricket: Dhaka DS take 143-run lead against Dhaka Metro

Dhaka Division South took 143 runs lead against Dhaka Metropolis on the second day of a 3-day match of the Young Tigers U-18 National Cricket Competition at Sheikh Jamal Stadium in Faridpur on Tuesday.
Replying to Dhaka DS 294 runs in the first innings, Dhaka Met opened the first innings on the 2nd day (Tuesday) and was dismissed for 173 runs in 78.4 overs.
Number five batsman Rabbi Hasan scored the team’s highest 69 runs while Abu Sufian (18) and Shakib Murad (17) were the other notable scorers for Dhaka Met.
Saif Hasan claimed 3 wickets for 33 runs while Ahasanullah Himel, Fahim bin Nir and Rokibul Islam Raza took 2 wickets each conceding 13, 30 and 35 runs respectively.
Dhaka DS (294 runs in the first innings) opened the 2nd innings and scored 22 runs for no loss in 8 overs at stumps on the day.
Rokibul Islam Raza and Shaikat Hossain were in batting scoring 12 and 4 runs respectively.

Chittagong Division (203 runs in the first innings) opened the 2nd innings and scored 35 runs for 5 in 17 overs, at stumps on the day.
Tohidul Islam and Susanto Das were in batting scoring 8 and 2 runs respectively.
Sifat Islam claimed four wickets for 11 runs while Shahanur Rahman took the other wicket conceding 1 run.
