The Walton Dhaka Divisional Women’s Sports Festival begins tomorrow at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in Dhanmondi.
Dhaka Divisional Women’s Sports Federation will arrange the sports festival under auspices of Walton Group.
Marking the ensuing sports meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Olympic Association Bhaban on Wednesday. General Secretary of Dhaka Divisional Sports Association (DDSA) Quamrun Nahar Hiru, Operative Director and Head of Sports & Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, Treasurer of DDSA Hamida Begum, Member of DDSA Farida Akter Begum were present at the conference.
A total of four disciplines will be held in the festival. They are: Athletics, Kabaddi, Handball and Volleyball.
Around 200 participants from four zones of Dhaka Division will take part in the two-day long sports festival.
