The day-long Dhaka Divisional Rural Sports Competition was held at Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in Dhanmondi on Wednesday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association Quamrun Nahar Dana inaugurated the sports meet in the day’s morning.
The events of the competition are: Ha-Du-Du, Gollachut, Satchara, Dariabandha, Dangguli, Cock Fight, Kana Machi and Ekka Dokka.
After the competition Additional Divisional Commissioner of Dhaka Division Md Anisur Rahman. Joint-Secretary of Dhaka Divisional Sports Association Ali Hossain, Member of the Association Md Tariquzzaman, Trainer of National Sports Council Kamrul Islam Kiron, General Secretary of Dhaka Divisional Women’s Sports Association Quamrun Nahar Hiru, Members of the Association Farida Akter Begum, Parvin Laila Lusi and the Administrator of Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex Ayesha Begum were present at the time.
