Dhaka Division suffered batting debacle in their first innings as they scored 231 for 7 against Barisal Division at stumps in the tier 1 four-day of 19th Walton Smart Fridge National Cricket League held on Friday at Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium in Khulna.
Opener Rony Talukder top scored with 68 runs while Taiabur Parvez added 35 runs as Dhaka Division lost wicket in regular intervals in the face of tight bowling display by the Barisal Division bowlers after they decided to bat first.
Skipper Sharif with 41 and Zahiduzzaman with 17 on the crease as the stumps were drawn for the day.
Tanvir Islam and Salman shared two wickets each for Barisal.
