Dhaka Division South trailed by 122 runs against Dhaka Merto in the first innings on day one of the Young Tigers Under-16 National Cricket Tournament at Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium, Rajshahi on Friday.
Winning the toss, Dhaka Metro opened the first innings and scored 189 runs for all in 65.4 overs.
Abul Khair Biplob scored team highest 44 runs off 79 balls with nine fours while Shahariar Sagar added 26 runs. Zubayer Bisal, Semul and Rafi Fairooj scored 19 runs each for the side.
Anamul Haque grabbed four wickets for 55 runs while Salman Hawlader took two wickets for 31 runs.
