The railway communication between Dhaka-Chittagong and Chittagong-Sylhet routes have resumed. after a disruption of more than three hours following a train derailment in Sadar Dakshin upazila of Comilla on Friday morning
Sources said four wheels of a bogie of Jalalabad Express veered off the tracks at Bijoypur under Laksham Railway Junction around 10:05am, Mohammad Ali, cabin station master (CSM) of the junction.
Different trains from and to Chittagong halted in different railway stations due to the derailment, said railway sources.
