Chittagong Bureau :Communication Minister Obaidul Quader MP said, the 4-lane expansion work of the Dhaka-Chittagong Highway will be completed by December next . After its completion of the expansion work, the road will remain opened for full traffic movement . He disclosed it while visiting the Sitalpur, Baraaulia, and Banubazar area under Sitakunda upazila of the highway yesterday. The communication miister said due to political instability , the contracting Chienese company could not work properly as a result the delay incompleting the work happened otherwise it was supposed to be completed by June next. The minister was accompanied by the Secretary of the Ministry, and the senior officials of Roads and Highways.
