Sports Reporter :Dhaka Cricketers and Bangla Trac won their respective matches of the 2nd Raman Lamba Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at the City Club Ground in Mirpur on Friday.In the day’s first match, Dhaka Cricketers crushed Dhaka India by nine wickets.Chasing Dhaka India’s total of 122 for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs, Dhaka Cricketers romped home in nine overs making 123 for the loss of one wicket in nine overs.Shimul of Dhaka Cricketers remained undefeated with 77. His 25-ball splendid innings was studded with 12 fours and four sixes. Shimul was adjudged the Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.Mintu of Dhaka Cricketers remained unbeaten with 29 off 13 balls amid five fours and a six.Victor of Dhaka India took one wicket for 20 runs.Earlier, Nambiar of Dhaka India was the only batsman who shone with the willow making 34 off 33 balls.Arif of Dhaka Cricketers bagged a couple of wickets for eight runs while Linkon, Atik, Saad, Shimul and Arshad took one wicket each for three, 18, 19, 21 and 23 runs respectively.In the day’s second match, Bangla Trac beat Ace Tex by 42 runs.Batting first Bangla Trac made 192 in 20 overs and then bowled out Ace Tex for 150 off 18 overs.Saurov of Bangla Trac was adjudged the Man of the Match.
