Dhaka Commerce College makes good results in HSC exams

Dhaka Commerce College is an institution which is self-financed and free from politics and smoking. Although Dhaka Commerce College is a specialized institution for Business Studies, in accordance with the demand of present time, Science group has also been introduced at higher secondary level of this college since the academic year 2019-2020.
The number of students who sat for thehigher secondary examinations this year from this college was 2395. Among them, 2386 students passed the exams. The pass rate was 99.71%. Among them, 977 students achieved GPA 5. It is mentionable that at the time of their admission, only 111 students had achieved GPA 5 from their SSC exams.
From the Business Studies group, 1307 students took part in the exams, and 1305 students passed. The pass ratewas 99.85%, and 309 students got GPA 5 whereas at the time of their admission only 31 students had GPA 5. On the other hand, from Science group, 1086 students appeared at the examinations, and 1081 students passed.
Percentage of pass was 99.54, and 668 students got GPA 5whereas at the time of their admission, only 80 students had GPA 5.This year was the first time when Dhaka Commerce College students from Science group sat for higher secondary exams.
In expressing his feeling about the results of higher secondary examinations 2021, recently, Professor Dr. Abu Masud, the Principal of Dhaka Commerce College, said, “We have achieved the series of successgiving importance to the achievement of good results through cultivating intellectual activities.
We are mostly careful about creating opportunities for our students to study at the best and renowned universities of the country, and we are also dedicated to the noble participation of creating enlightened people with successful careers.” Professor Dr. Safique Ahmed Siddique, the chairman of the governing body of this college, said, “Dhaka Commerce College has been achieving consecutive good results by dint of the best efforts of its teachers and students.”
Mention may be made that in 1996 and in 2002 Dhaka Commerce College achieved the recognition of the best college conferred by the ministry of education. Moreover, this college achieved the prestige of being the best private college consecutively in 2015, 2016 and 2017 according to National University college ranking.
