Dhaka COMICON, the country’s first ever comic-con event, returns for its fifth year on December 10-12 with smashing attractions from international contingents.
This year, the three-day event, to be arranged by Jamuna Future Park & Dhaka COMICON, will be at Jamuna Future Park in the city. The entire 5th floor main atrium of Jamuna Future Park along with 5th floor north hall along with east and south halls as well as 3 ground floor atriums will be hosts to the DCC’16.
Dhaka Comicon ‘In Brightest Day’ which will be a crossover event where our locals get to meet cosplayers, fans and distributors from different parts of the world. The biggest pop culture event will remain open from 11 am to 9pm (All 3 days). Registration will take place at the venue on the event days. Passes will be available for purchase at the venue and also will be available for pre-purchase in the next few days at JFP. One-day pass is Tk 200. The programmes include Star Wars Exhibition from Dhaka Museum Of Toys & Saadi’s Collectibles will kick off at DCC and continue till the release of the movie ‘Star Wars -Rogue One’ around the city.
Artworks, related to anything pop-culture, presentation, Action Figure Photography Competition, Artist’s Corner with talented artists, Collectors’ Exhibitions, Themed Corners will also be included.
Participants will have the opportunity to see tons of pop culture merchandises at the venue as Dhaka COMICON-Exclusive items, including action figures, statues, comic books, and collectibles, will be showcased. Special Comicon Panel Selected Bands will share the stage with the big guns of the industry as well as Electro,Quicksand, Wreck Records & Ozone Recordings artists via Incursion Music.
Incursion Music and sublabels Siren, Electro, Wreck Records along with Quicksand and Ozone Recordings will highlight the Live Music Section with a wide array of artists.
