An allround performance by Shahadat Hriday enabled Dhaka Cricket Academy to earn an overwhelming eight-wicket victory over Lalmatia Club in the Dhaka Second Division Cricket League was held on Wednesday at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah, Narayanganj.
Opted to bat first after winning the toss, Lalmatia Club was bundled out for 112 in 35.2 overs with Shakil Hossain scoring 44 runs.
Shahadat Hriday grabbed four Lalmatia wickets conceding 29 runs while Shakil and Adnan shared two wickets each for Dhaka CA.
In reply, Dhaka Cricket Academy comfortably reached home scoring 114 in 28.3 overs for the loss of two wickets.
Hriday , after his fierce bowling spell, played a brilliant knock of 53 runs to help Dhaka CA towards the victory.
Fahad Ahmed and Khalid Bin Walid took one wicket apiece.
