Dhaka District earned a comfortable 5-0 goal victory over Chittagong District in the Agrani Bank 26th National Youth Hockey Championship at the Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here on Saturday.
Raihan struck two field goals in the 25th and 30th minutes while Miron, Tanjim and Shihab scored one field goal each in the 22nd, 55th and 67th minutes respectively.
Jessore District beat Mymensingh District by a solitary goal in the day’s another match at the same venue with Sajal scoring the match-winner in the 68th minute.
In the day’s other match, Naogaon District overcame Satkhira by 3-2 goals in tie-breaker as the match was locked in 1-1 goal in the stipulated period. Faisal Ahmed scored for Satkhira in the 11th minute while Sifat restored the parity for Naogaon in he 42nd minute in the schedule time.
