Dhaka Abahani Limited tasted their first victory in the Manyavar Bangladesh Premier Football League outplaying Feni Soccer Club by 4-0 goals in their 2nd match at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
The crowd pulling popular Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited played 2-2 draw with Rahmatganj MFS in their first match on Wednesday.
After the day’s match, Dhaka Abahani have secured four points from two matches while Feni Soccer Club is still pointless, also playing two matches.
In the day’s match, Hungarian striker Szalbolic Csorba struck twice, Hungarian medio Gabor Damien and defender Mamun Miah netted one each for the winners, which dominated the first half by 2-0 goals.
Gabor Damien opened the floodgate for Dhaka Abahani in the 23rd minute by an angular placing shot, capitalising a square pass of midfielder Shahedul Alam Shahed with a nice combination with Emon Babu (1-0).
In the stoppage time of the first half, Szalbolic Csorba doubled the Abahani margin by flicking a low cross of Abdul Baten Majumdar Komol (2-0).
In the 75th minute, Szalbolic Csorba scored his 2nd and the 3rd goal for Abahani by a placing shot utilising a long pass of Emon Babu which came his way through Gabor Damien (3-0).
In the stoppage time of the match, defender Mamun Miah sealed the fate of the match scoring the 4th goal for Abahani by his solo effort (4-0).
