After the news of Sanjay Dutt being replaced by Ajay Devgn broke out a few months back, Indra Kumar’s Total Dhamaal has garnered attention yet again. It has been rumoured that Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit Nene have been cast opposite each other in the movie that is slated to go on floors this December. Their sizzling onscreen chemistry that was last seen in the movie Pukar 17 years back is definitely going to attract moviegoers.Ajay Devgn will be seen portraying a character similar to what Sanjay Dutt had played in Dhamaal and Double Dhamaal won’t be having a love interest.
A source was quoted thus by a leading tabloid, “There was no truth to the rumours about Ajay recommending Ileana for Total Dhamaal. It is true that the original script had scope for another actress besides Madhuri. But on second thoughts, the makers felt that it would be interesting to see Ajay without a love interest. If you see Dhamaal and Double Dhamaal, Sanjay Dutt’s character too didn’t have a leading lady opposite him. The team is currently doing a recce in Uttar Pradesh. They will start shooting in Lucknow tentatively on December 15.”
