UNB, Gazipur :
A devotee died atthe Biswa Ijtema ground in Tongi area on the outskirts of the capital early Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Joynal Abedin, 70, a resident of Kishoreganj district.
Sources said Joynal died in the dead of night due to old age complications.
The second phase of the three-day Ijtema, the second largest congregation of the Muslims after the hajj, began on the bank of the Turag River on Friday.
