Noted industrialist and Chairman of IMS Group & Hotel Sea World Ltd Alhaj Abul Bashar Abu said , Bangladesh is a tourism perspective country and the govt should patronise the tourism sector on priority basis.
He also sought effective govt cooperation for rapid development of tourism industry in the beach town of Cox’sBazar.
A meeting of the Hotel Motel Owners’ Association was held at Hotel Media auditorium in Cox’sbazar recently with its Vice President Alhaj Nurul Absar in the chair.
He also called upon the local administration to evict the illegal occupants from hotel motel zone, unauthorized hawkers, vendors to avoid any sorts of nuisances in the zone. Abul Bashar Abu also requested the authorities concerned to arrange proper street lighting and effected security measures for the visiting tourists from home and abroad. Among others, Director of Hotel Media Imtiaz Alam Chowdhury, CEO of Hotel Sea Gull Imrul Islam, Harunur Rashid, Mosharraf Hossain, Babu Sujit Barua, Jahirul Islam, Abu Taleb,Faisal Mahmud Chowdhury, Md. Mofizur Rahaman were present in the meeting a release of the association said.
