The week long ‘Development Fair 2019’, where the exhibitors are selling and showcasing products like jute goods, agricultural products, food products, and so on, attracted a huge crowd.
Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), a financial institution founded by the government, organized the fair at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in the capital. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the exhibition on Thursday.
130 organisations, including small public and private manufacturing industries of remote areas, research organisations and information technology (IT) institutions are showcasing their products and services at 190 stalls of the event.
The organiser, participants and visitors expressed their satisfaction as they received a massive response from the visitors and customers locally and internationally.
They said both sales and orders are handsome and hoped that it will be increased in the coming days.
The organisers said the entrepreneurs are showcasing diversified products to increase their sales as the people’s taste and elegance are changing with the passage of time.
