Development works on 76 projects for the poorest people in Rayganj Upazila under Sirajganj district is going on in full swing.
The projects include construction of 51 rural roads, reconstruction of grave yard and Madrasha and Colleges in 15.
At least 1576 women and 2664 males will be benefited in the project financed by the Relief Ministry in 2017-2018. The first phase Kulsum Bibi, Abdul Quddus, Mohila Bewa, Zahura Khatun, Momena Khatun, Jamal Uddin, Rahman Ali, Slam Mia, Khoka Mondal were benefited from the projects A 40 days package was sponsored in December 12 in 2017. Relief officer Abdur Rahim visited the projects on January 3 and told me that the construction works are going in full swing.
Mr. Iqbal Akhtar the upazilla Nirbahi officer of Rayganj upazilla and Kamrul Ahsan Project Implementation officer said that at least 90% works will be completed in schedule time in that regard. Taka over 2 cores were allocated by the relief ministry implementation the projects.
